Welcome to the North American opening of the NHL 2007-2008 Season. Ryan Smyth plays tonight, so in an act reminiscent of agreeing to hang out with your recent ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend, I'll be watching with a mixture of nostalgia and irrational rage.
O Blessed Season from now until New Year's...I have eggnog in hand, McKeen's handy, and the Sun's handsome sports pullout prepped and in....er...hand.
