I'm excited about this season.

I think Erik Cole is going to be a HUGE contributor. As an Oilers fan from NC, I hated to see him leave here, but was mostly excited to see him going to my favorite team. He's got grit, as long as he can stay healthy, and should be a huge asset to the team, and Carolina is stuck with douchebag Pitkanen, but whatev. Anything that makes the Oilers better makes me happy!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07201086405494820864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5771711144615256629.post-42053448450488420282008-09-13T22:20:00.000-06:002008-09-13T22:20:00.000-06:00Agree, there's alot to look forward to. Glad I've been so busy, time is flying for me.

re: the Stefan goal - never tire of seeing that - and that little bit of magic doesn't happen without Stoll, playing hard right to the end. Too bad about the noggin, do hope he rebounds.

Anyway, good to see you've reactivated your hockey self grease trap!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5771711144615256629.post-77176088638026641962008-09-13T19:49:00.000-06:002008-09-13T19:49:00.000-06:00Oilblob in the system.Oilblob in the system.mike whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12425527059185667388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5771711144615256629.post-78801862731001753522008-09-12T21:29:00.000-06:002008-09-12T21:29:00.000-06:00What an optimistic load of crap. That post is possibly the most foolish thought process that i've come across in my surfing of NHL teams fans.
The Oilers will finish in 4th (tops) and fail to make the playoffs. Vancouver, Calgary and Minny are so far ahead of them that its not really worth comparing. The Oil have a good foundation, but are weak in net and defence. Throw in a slump or two from the smallish forward corp and its done before Christmas.
Book it...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5771711144615256629.post-25347530851392680222008-09-12T11:19:00.000-06:002008-09-12T11:19:00.000-06:00A beauty preview, I'm really hoping there's a part...A beauty preview, I'm really hoping there's a part 2.Earl Sleekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15843720035500316419noreply@blogger.com
